We’re proud to work with Benns Ethicoa chocolate, who produces bean-to-bar artisanal chocolates. Like us, they subscribe to sustainable and ethical trade practices. Benns is committed to sustainable and directly-sourced chocolate, which ensures you get high quality chocolate, and their farmers a better compensation through an intimate partnership with direct trade.
While they stand proud in their own leagues, we now combine excellent single origins of both chocolate and coffee beans, to bring you something truly exquisite – Coffee Beans Coated with 45% Milk Chocolate. They make a great snack (yes, you eat them right out of the bag!)
The Coffee Bean
This single origin bean comes from the Cerrado Mineiro region in Brazil. These beans are specialty grade, scoring over 80 points on a 100 point scale by the SCAA. We freshly and locally roast them to a medium-dark profile, with taste notes of milk chocolate, caramel, and toasted hazelnut. This meticulous care is the reason why the farm performs well in the prestigious Cup of Excellence competitions.
The Chocolate
This 45% single estate bean to bar milk chocolate is made from ethically sourced cacao beans in Sungai Ruan, Malaysia from the Koh family. With more than 30 years of Cacao farming experience, they dedicate their time intro growing, fermenting and drying – perfecting cacao processing. Chocolate made from their estate is known to have a unique fruity taste due to the abundance of fruit plantations surrounding it.
Ingredients: Cacao nibs, raw cane sugar, cocoa butter, full cream milk and coffee beans.
